Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the number of staff in the International Protection Accommodation Services by grade in tabular form; the number of additional staff since the Russian invasion of Ukraine; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI take it that the Deputy is referring to the Ukraine Division which was established in response to the Ukraine crisis.
As of the 11th of November 2022, there were 142 people assigned to work in or support the Ukraine Division. This includes 49 staff internally reassigned from within my Department, Ukrainian Temporary Clerical Officers that were recruited and staff on secondment or temporary assignment from other departments/bodies.
