Deputy Neasa Hourigan asked the Minister for Transport if studies have been conducted on the way that projects relating to BusConnects, MetroLink and the Royal Canal Greenway will impact local communities during their respective construction phases, particularly in the Dublin 7 area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure, including the BusConnects programmes and MetroLink.
