Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage further to Parliamentary Question No. 142 of 28 September 2022, if his Department has received correspondence from Cork City Council concerning stormwater pipes; the date they received this correspondence; the date on which a reply was issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraLegal responsibilities in relation to the repair and maintenance of stormwater pipes are set out in the reply given to Question No. 142 of 28 September 2022 and the position remains unchanged. As Minister, I have no function in relation to the matter. At the time of responding my Department is not aware of any correspondence from Cork City Council in relation to the matter. Any correspondence received will be replied to in an appropriate manner.
