Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Education if she or any officials from her Department or from bodies under the aegis of her Department travelled to the Sharm el-Sheikh Climate Change Conference; the number who travelled; the costs incurred; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that neither I, nor any officials from my Department, travelled to this Conference. I am not aware of any officials travelling to the Conference from any bodies under the aegis of the Department.
