Deputy Pa Daly asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth further to Parliamentary Question No. 112 of 27 April 2022, the total number of rooms acquired by IPAS within privately owned accommodation (details supplied) as part of its response to the crisis in Ukraine. Amharc ar fhreagraI can advise the Deputy that the total number of rooms acquired by my Department to date within privately owned accommodation (hotels, guesthouses, B&Bs or any other property not owned by an arm of the State) as short term accommodation for Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection fleeing the war in Ukraine is just over 14,000.
