403. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the length of time that that cairn T in Loughcrew, County Meath been closed to the public; the length of time that an acrow prop has been in place to secure the roof; and the plans to restore this important megalithic tomb. Cairn T in Loughcrew, County Meath has been closed to the public since October 2018 when the acrow prop was put in place to secure it's roof.

The Office of Public Works wish to confirm that resources will be allocated through the 2023 Business Planning process to commence the development of a Conservation Management Plan for the site. Any works to be carried out will be in the context of the recommendations that the Plan may make for the long-term protection of the monument.
