119. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection if a decision has been made on an application by a person (details supplied) for an invalidity pension; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3445/23]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 1 December 2022 and will receive his first payment to his nominated bank account on 26 January 2023. All arrears due from 1 December 2022 to 25 January 2023 will also issue to his nominated account on same date. The person in question was notified of this decision on 20 January 2023.
I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
