Statistics are published by my Department on a quarterly basis on social housing delivery by all local authorities across the range of programmes, including local authority build. This data, including that in respect of Kildare County Council, is available to the end of Quarter 3 of 2022 at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/collection/6060e-overall-social-housing-provision/. Data up to Q4 of 2022 will be published as soon as it is assembled.

In addition, a detailed Social Housing Construction Status Report is published quarterly and provides scheme level detail on new build social housing activity for the local authorities, including projects that are on site, in planning or design and completed projects and specifying the different delivery programmes. This includes the projects being advanced by or on behalf of Kildare County Council, and is available at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/publication/2b4cd-social-housing-construction-projects-status-report-q3-2022/ .

Kildare County Council has also recently developed their own 5-year Housing Delivery Action Plan which will contain further information on their future delivery plans and more specific information on their social housing projects will be available from the local authority itself.

The allocation to new tenants of housing, including newly developed social homes, is carried out by the local authorities and data on these allocations should be available directly from them.

Question No. 242 taken with No. 235.
