Deputy Alan Dillon asked the Minister for Education if she will provide an update on accommodation for a school (details supplied); when this additional accommodation project will proceed to tender; the reason for delays in the procurement process; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe school to which the Deputy refers was approved funding under my Additional School Accommodation (ASA) Scheme to build 1 Mainstream Classroom with Assisted User Ensuite WC & 1 SET Room. This project has been devolved to the Board of Management of the school for delivery.
I can confirm that my Department has received a Stage 2B Report from the school. This report is currently being reviewed by officials in my Department. A decision will be conveyed directly to the school authority as soon as this review has been completed.
