412. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection if a decision has been made on an application for invalidity pension by a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7155/23]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned has been awarded invalidity pension (IP) with effect from 22 December 2022 and will receive his first payment to his nominated bank account on 02 March 2023. Any arrears due from 22 December 2022 to 01 March 2023 will issue shortly. The person in question was notified of this decision on 10 February 2023.I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
