275. Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the number of communications staff currently employed in her Department; the cost of these staff for 2022; the expected cost for 2023; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8713/23]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised that there are 9 members of staff working in the Communications Unit of my Department. This Unit is responsible for internal and external communications for the Department, which includes media response and wider media relations, event organisation, social media, co-ordination of briefing material, media services, communications-related training, and internal communications within the Department.
