Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Transport the numbers of users, bike rides, membership revenue and each station usage in the each of the years 2018 to 2022, and to date in 2023, for each of the public bike schemes in Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Dublin, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to cycling and public transport infrastructure.
Details regarding revenue and usage of public bike schemes fall under the remit of the National Transport Authority (NTA) working in conjunction with the relevant local authorities.
