Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he will support lifting the restrictions on the right to work, to allow all asylum seekers to work and implementing all the recommendations of a group (details supplied) in relation to the right to work; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will be aware, my Department is responsible for the provision of accommodation to persons in the International Protection process. All matters and obligations relating to the Labour Permission Access should be directed to Department of Justice.
