Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications if his Department supports the use of gender-neutral pronouns in the drafting of legislation or policies initiated by or originating in his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department remains committed to human rights, equality and anti-discrimination, and in providing an inclusive work environment. As part of the ongoing development of the Department's organisation, people and culture, an equality, diversity and inclusion strategy and action plan is currently being developed for implementation later this year.
