Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform if he or his Department officials have met with representatives of medical scientists here in the wake of publication of an assessment (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe matter referred to by the Deputy is in the first instance one for my colleague the Minister for Health. However, I can confirm that, in relation to the draft report the deputy refers to, the Department of Health and the HSE recently met with the organisation and that my officials were in attendance at that meeting also. I understand that this matter is part of an ongoing process and accordingly it would not be appropriate for me to comment further pending the outcome of the process.
