My officials are collating the information requested and a further reply will be issued to the Deputy shortly.

The following deferred reply was received under Standing Order 51.

I refer to your recent parliamentary questions (tabled 4 May) which sought information on a number of my Department’s programmes and the subsequent discussions with my officials which clarified the requested information to be: A table with a listing of all projects approved from 2019 to date.

• A table with all projects over €100,000 approved since 2019, with the current status of each project and the date each project was completed/expected completion date

My Department has now compiled the information sought and it is set out in the appendices to this letter as follows:

• Appendix 1 and Appendix 1 A- tables in relation to the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme

• Appendix 2 and Appendix 2A – tables in relation to the Town And Village Renewal Scheme

• Appendix 3 and Appendix 3A- tables in relation to the Rural Regeneration And Development Fund

• Appendix 4 and Appendix 4A – tables in relation to the CLÁR Programme

• Appendix 5 and Appendix 5A – tables in relation to the LEADER Programme

These programmes are key interventions under Our Rural Future , the Government’s Policy for rural development which aims to deliver a range of actions to rural communities over the lifetime of the policy.

A number of factors has impacted on project delivery over the past number of years including restrictions due to Covid, availability of contractors and inflation. However, my Department continues to engage proactively with our delivery partners to ensure delivery of these vital projects. I am happy to confirm that there is now a trend of increasing delivery across schemes.
