Deputy Brendan Howlin asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the current staffing complement for the Marine Area Regulatory Authority, including the grade level of staff currently assigned there, the optimum number of staff expected to be recruited to the authority, and the timeline of reaching its optimum employment level; when the authority will be fully functioning; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
