Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Transport his views on the effect of an increase in taxi fares, implemented since September 2022, on the number of taxi drivers; the number of new taxi driver licences sought in each county in each of the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and to date in 2023; the number of active taxi driver licences in each county in each of the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and to date in 2023; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
