Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the chairperson of each HEA funded Irish higher education institutions; the terms of office of each; the number of terms served by each; the method of appointment, annual remuneration and expenses for each in each of the past three years, in tabular form. Amharc ar fhreagraThe chairpersons of higher education institutions are appointed by the governing body of those institutions, in accordance with the relevant sectoral legislation. Therefore, all of the information requested concerning the chairpersons of higher education institutions; the term of office of each; the number of terms served by each; the method of appointment, annual remuneration and expenses for each in each of the past three years is not readily available in my Department.
Officials will arrange for the compilation of the information sought and it will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
