Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Education if she has issued a memo and or circular in respect of incumbent principals offering interview preparation and other services to teachers and SNAs in exchange for fees; and if so, if she will provide this Deputy with the circular and or memo. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department issues circulars and information notes in relation to the terms and conditions of employment for Principals as regards their employment in Oireachtas paid posts only. Where a Principal undertakes additional employment in a private capacity in their own time and separate to their role as a Principal of the school, my Department has no involvement in such matters.
