Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Health what action his Department is taking to ensure that all CT planning scanners are operational nationally, in view that presently two CT planning scanners are not operational due to a staff shortage, and as a result patients have their start dates pushed out which is reflective in the National Cancer Control Programme national key performance indicators data; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
