461. Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine what plans he and his Department have to renew a long-term lease on the Bord Iascaigh Mhara coastal training centre based in Howth, County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41520/23]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am happy to clarify that my Department does not have a lease for such a facility with Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) at Howth, Co. Dublin. BIM operates the National Fisheries College of Ireland at Greencastle, Co. Donegal and at Castletownbere, Co. Cork. BIM also has mobile coastal training units that are deployed in line with skills and training needs regionally.
