55. Deputy Paul McAuliffe asked the Minister for Transport if the National Transport Authority will consider a surrender grant for non-wheelchair taxi licence holders, so as to increase the overall supply of wheelchair taxis. [43181/23]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe regulation of the small public service vehicle (SPSV) industry, including the administration of the wheelchair accessible vehicle grant scheme, is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Acts 2013 and 2016. I have no role in the day-to-day operations of the SPSV industry.
