153. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when payment under the basic income support sustainability scheme will be made available to a farmer in Kerry (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [46830/23]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named submitted an application under a reference number for the 2023 Basic Income Support Sustainability Scheme (BISS). He has now submitted further documentation to allow this Reference Number be linked with a herd number. The application is now being processed and will be subject to the standard administrative checks. Once these checks are complete any payment due will issue. My Department will be in contact with the person named if any further information is needed to assist in the processing of the application.
