Ceist:1287. Deputy Patrick Costello asked the Minister for Health following the recommendations of the Citizens Assembly on Drugs if his Department will legislate to give effect to this parliamentary term. [48470/23]

It is expected that the final report with the recommendation from the Citizens' Assembly on Drug Use will be placed before the Houses of the Oireachtas by the end of 2023. The report will then be referred for consideration to the relevant committee of both houses. Following its consideration, the response to the recommendations will be brought to the Oireachtas for debate and decision. I look forward to receiving the final report of the Assembly and commit to giving detailed consideration of the report and its recommendations, in conjunction with the Oireachtas and the Government.
