Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence if his Department or any of its agencies are involved in any exercise, operation, training or research which includes involvement by any Israeli state agency, any Israeli-based company or any company based elsewhere in the world which is owned or part-owned by any Israeli state agency or by any Israeli-based company. Amharc ar fhreagraNeither my Department nor the Defence Forces are currently engaged in any exercise, operation, training or research with any Israeli state agency, any Israeli-based company or any company based elsewhere in the world which is owned or part-owned by any Israeli state agency or by any Israeli-based company.
However, I am advised that my Department and the Defence Forces have engaged with Israeli companies in relation to the procurement of defensive equipment and maintenance and training on such equipment, details of which were provided in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 47802/23, answered on 7 November.
