Deputy Patricia Ryan asked the Minister for Health with regard to the saxenda injection and the prescription/testing process for same, to clarify what procedural/approval procedures are in place for GPs/primary care centres with regard to test analyses/approval of the suitability of possible candidates for injection of the drug saxenda; if a consultation process with all doctors in a GPs/primary care centre is required before approval/suitability for the injection is given (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter.
