Deputy Pauline Tully asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth his views on whether children and adults with disabilities need to live close to family and natural supports where that is their will and preference; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible. As the Deputy may be aware, the industrial action that commenced on Friday, 6 October 2023, by management and administrative grades in Fórsa Trade Union in the HSE, will impact on the response times to Parliamentary Questions and Representations.
