145. Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Transport if student paramedics on a national HSE panel will be added to the list of workers prioritised for emergency driver test appointments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2102/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraUnder the Road Safety Authority Act 2006, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for the National Driver Testing Service. This includes setting the eligibility criteria for urgent driving tests. As such, I have referred the question to the RSA for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
