Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Minister for Transport if he will provide a 2023 end-of-year report on the Connecting Ireland Plan for County Tipperary; the funding that was allocated and spent; the services that have been delivered; the funding that will be allocated for 2024; and the services that are expected to be delivered in 2024 in County Tipperary. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport.
The National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for securing the provision of public passenger transport services nationally. The NTA also has national responsibility for integrated local and rural transport, including TFI Local Link services and the rollout of services under the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan.
