Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science whether spending from the National Training Fund affects expenditure (details supplied); if an explanation can be provided for each, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department has no role in setting the Government’s Expenditure Rule or general Government expenditure. My Department manages the expenditure of the National Training Fund, which is encompassed within the expenditure ceiling set out in the fiscal and expenditure framework by the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform, and agreed by Government.
