21. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs when an application for a passport renewal will be completed (details supplied); the reason for the delay in issuing said passport; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5549/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraWith regard to the specific application about which the Deputy has enquired, the standard turnaround time for child renewal applications is 15 working days from the date the Passport Service receives the required supporting documents. The applicant's supporting documents were received on 22 January 2024. This application is within the standard turnaround time and has not yet reached its issue-by date.
