Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage whether he has received any reports or briefings from Uisce Éireann with regard to the timeframe for water connections to new housing developments and one-off houses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Uisce Éireann provides quarterly updates to my Department in relation to connections activity through the Housing for All reporting structures. Uisce Éireann remains committed to playing its part in the national drive to provide homes to people who need them by developing and prioritising the delivery of key water service infrastructure.
