Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Social Protection how many employee applications for clarification on PRSI and pension class have been made to scope section; how many are awaiting a decision; and how many decisions have been held due to An Post withholding service histories. [4990/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department can confirm that there are currently 29 cases under investigation in the Scope insurability section of the Department from employees of the employer referred to by the Deputy. The Department is actively engaging with the employer in relation to these cases and decisions will be made in due course.
The Department does not keep records of the number of historical applications for insurability decisions received from employees of specific employers.
I trust this clarifies the position for the deputy.
