Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Health if romosozumab, which is used to treat women with severe osteoporosis, is also approved by the EMT for use in Ireland for men with severe osteoporosis (details supplied); if romosozumab is approved by the EMT to be used under medical supervision by a registered consultant in Ireland for a 45-year-old male with severe osteoporosis with a very high risk of bone fracture; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
