Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh asked the Minister for Education if she will introduce exemptional measures in terms of eligibility for CID for all educators affected by the recently announced changes to special education funding, given many people are being negatively impacted in their careers such as in this case of a person (details supplied) where they are one contract away from CID in their current school but the school is no longer able to offer them a fixed term due to the cuts; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
