1344. Deputy Mark Ward asked the Minister for Health the number of reviews of reported deaths carried out by the Standards and Quality Assurance division of the Mental Health Commission in each year of the past ten years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12143/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department has contacted the Mental Health Commission who said that the carrying out of reviews of deaths in mental health facilities does not fall within its remit. Therefore, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy on this matter as soon as possible.
