453. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Justice if any person has been excluded from temporary protection due to circumstances (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21450/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can advise the Deputy that as of Sunday 12 May 2024, 2565 applicants for Temporary Protection have been refused such status due to having insufficient evidence of residing in Ukraine at the time of the outbreak of the war. Some of these may have presented again with additional and sufficient evidence and been granted. A breakdown of this number is not available. I am informed that to date there have not been any refusals for other reasons.
