334. Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if she will provide an update on the status of funding applications related to an athletics track (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22600/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraDundalk Athletics Track was approved for grant funding under the 2017 and 2020 rounds of the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme. In relation to the grant approved under the 2017 programme, legal formalities have been completed and payment requests are being processed. In relation to the grant provisionally approved under the 2020 programme no further legal formalities are required and the documentation necessary to receive formal approval is awaited from the grant recipient.
