asked the Minister for Defence whether he has received a claim for compensation from Mr. John Moran, of Lavallyroe, Ballyhaunis, on account of a motor car seized by National Troops under the command of Captain Madden, at Loftus Garage, Cloonfad, on July, 23rd, 1922, and, if so whether any decision has yet been taken with regard to this claim and, if not, whether he will see that the matter is expedited.

Mr. Madden's claim has been received and is under investigation. It is hoped to reach a decision at an early date.
