I wonder if the President is yet in a position to discuss the matter raised last week with the Minister for Finance respecting the programme for the Session, and whether he can make any announcement respecting the possible adjournment during the summer.
PROGRAMME OF THE SESSION.
I had hoped to have been able to make an announcement on that, but the principal official to whom I had allotted the duty of mapping out a programme and a timetable has, unfortunately, been seriously ill for the past five or six days, and I have not been able to examine the time-table that he had drawn up. I am almost certain that he will be laid up for a week or possibly ten days longer, but I hope that by the time of the Easter Recess I shall be in a position to make an announcement on the matter.
Has the Minister made up his mind as to when the Easter Recess shall begin?
I hope that we shall be able to have the programme before Easter.
