Kildare, wife of Corporal John Fitzpatrick, Army No. 13769, 58th Battalion, Military Barracks, Dundalk, and whether he will expedite payment of arrears.
CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PAYMENT OF DEPENDENT'S ALLOWANCE.
In accordance with the terms of Defence Order No. 30, dependent's allowance was not payable to Mrs. Fitzpatrick after the date her husband re-attested for military service, namely, the 8th March last. If they were married prior to the 8th October last, marriage allowance, however, is issuable. A form for claiming such allowance has been sent to Corporal Fitzpatrick. On its return duly completed, the allowance will be paid without delay.
