Vol. 7 No. 20

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - CASTLEREA CLAIM FOR COMMANDEERED LORRY.

TOMAS MAC EOIN (for Tomás O Conaill)

asked the Minister for Defence if he has received a claim from Mr. Thomas J. Caulfield, of Main Street, Castlerea, on account of a Garford 350cwt. lorry, commandeered by National troops on July 2nd, 1922; if he is in a position to say whether this claim has yet been settled, and, if not, whether he will see that the matter is expedited.

A cheque for £90 in favour of Mr. Caulfield was issued on the 18th March last to his solicitor, Mr. Staunton, Castlerea, in full settlement of the claim.
