asked the Minister for Finance whether any decision has yet been come to on the claim of Mr. Thomas Kiggins, of Derreen, Gort, Co. Galway, for compensation for injuries received from British Forces in June, 1921; and, if an award has been made, how soon can payment of same be made.

No application by the person named by the Deputy has been made to the Compensation (Personal Injuries) Committee. The Committee were informed that a claim for personal injuries had been lodged with the Compensation (Ireland) Commission, and on the 14th April last a form of application was sent to the solicitor acting for Mr. Kiggins. This form has not been returned to the Committee.
