CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DIVISION OF MEATH LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission have taken over the Reynell Estate, Lobinstown, Slane, County Meath, and that portion of the same estate at Killeary, in the same district, and whether, in the event of these lands being divided, the Land Commission will give preference to the landless men and uneconomic holders, who have had portion of these lands rented to them for cow parks and tillage purposes since 1915.

An offer to purchase the lands referred to has been made by the Land Commission. In the distribution of the lands the Land Commission will have due regard to the wants and circumstances of the people in this district.
