asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that Patrick Hayes, of Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo, obtained a decree for the sum of £60 under the Damage to Property (Compensation) Act, 1923, at the Mayo County Court on the 13th of February, 1924; that said decree was lodged with the State Solicitor by Mr. Dillon-Leetch—the solicitor acting for Mr. Hayes—on the 30th June, 1924, and has not yet been paid, and if he will cause steps to be taken to have this decree discharged.
WRITTEN ANSWERS. - PAYMENT OF MAYO COMPENSATION DECREE.
The decree to which the Deputy refers has been received in my Department, and subject to the result of enquiries which are being made regarding possible arrears of rates or income tax, payment will be authorised at an early date.
