asked the Minister for Defence if he will expedite a decision on the claim of Thomas Sheridan, Barrack Street, Ennis, in respect of civilian clothes worn by him during his service in the Army from November 11th, 1922, to May 19th, 1924, and which is pending since his discharge.

Owing to the demobilisation of certain officers, it has not yet been possible to verify Mr. Sheridan's claim. He has therefore been requested to make a statutory declaration on a form sent to him for the purpose. On its return, duly completed, a decision will be expedited.
