The Land Commission have made a proposal to purchase some 129 acres of untenanted lands in the townlands of Ballyvorgal North, Ballyvorgal South, Ballyvorgal Beg and Castlelake, on the estate of R.J. Parker, County Clare, which the owner has accepted.

The Land Commission have gazetted untenanted lands comprising 336 acres 1 rood 32 perches in the townland of Cappa Lodge, County Clare, on the estate of Annie Dundon, for acquisition under the Land Act, 1923. These proceedings are nearing completion.

With reference to the estate of Mrs. A.H. Butler, Sixmilebridge, County Clare, referred to in the question, the Commissioners are at present in negotiation for the purchase of some 241 acres in the townland of Drumullan, County Clare, on the estate of Miss Butler, which is probably the estate referred to. These negotiations are not yet completed.
