Vol. 10 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - NAAS EX-SOLDIER'S PENSION.

asked the Minister for Defence if he can state why Patrick McDonald, Oldtown, Naas, who was discharged from the Army as medically unfit after being one year in hospital, on a weekly pension of 16s. 9d., has received no money for the past three months.

The pension awarded to Mr. McDonald was subject to review after further medical examination on the 1st December last. When the examination had been carried out, certain enquiries had to be made. These have been completed, and the arrears due to Mr. McDonald will be paid forthwith.
