Vol. 10 No. 12

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ROSCREA COMPENSATION CLAIM.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Finance if he has received repeated applications from Mr. P.J. Hall, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, for payment of an amount of £163 11s. 10d. and costs, for which a decree was given by Judge Sealy at Nenagh on 21st March, 1924, and also £160 in respect of a decree given by Judge Sealy at Nenagh on May 9th, 1924, and if he will give instructions to have the total amount due paid without delay, or give reasons for not doing so.

A report, not a decree, for £163 11s. 10d. was made in this applicant's favour, and no payment will be made on foot of it, as it has been ascertained that the goods which were the subject of the report were supplied to Irregulars in the ordinary course of trading and in expectation of payment. Certain circumstances in connection with the claim on foot of which the decree for £160 was made are at present under investigation.
